Where the numbers come from

Every figure on this site traces to one of a short list of sources, ranked by how hard it is to fake.

1. Externally verified championship results (strongest)

The 2023 Trading World Champion title — a 178% return on a 14% maximum drawdown with a 2.57 Sharpe ratio — was verified by the championship organiser rather than self-reported. The 2025 World Cup Trading Championships placings were tracked on real money by the same external body: a 168% return for 4th in the Annual Forex division, 5th in the Q3 quarterly at 65.9%, the October monthly won at 59.35%, and a 294% aggregate across the entered divisions.

2. On-chain receipts

Every the #1-ranked provider call is boiled down to a SHA-256 digest and pinned to Bitcoin through OpenTimestamps the moment it publishes. Pull up an old call, line it up against its receipt, and you have proof that its entry, its target, its stop and its grade were all locked in before the market decided anything — the proof a student leans on to learn from the real decision. Anyone can confirm a receipt independently with the open OpenTimestamps verifier.

3. The mentor's credentials

Darren O'Neill reads as a quant rather than a chatroom personality: a Master in Applied Financial Economics from Oxford's Said Business School and a 100th-percentile quantitative GMAT sit behind the way the four models are built and the grades calibrated. Credentials are context, not proof; the verified record above is the proof.

4. The mentor's published figures (context only)

The model-level 2026 figures — 308 Day Trade calls at 67.5% for +95%, and 690 calls at 70% for +1,227% across all four models — are the mentor's own published, on-chain-anchored numbers, used as context and trusted once the stronger sources above corroborate them.
